The Shanghai stop of the Asia Open AGI Symposium series successfully concluded at Shanghai Jiaotong University on October 26. The event gathered researchers, developers, and students to exchange ideas on the rapidly evolving landscape of open-source AI.
Speakers included Zhixuan Fang (Tsinghua University), Zihan Guo (Shanghai Jiaotong University), and Edoardo Contente from Sentient, who presented on topics such as Agentic AI, LaMAS Architecture, and OML Verification Models. The discussions highlighted how open collaboration and transparency are shaping the future of AI research and infrastructure.

The atmosphere in Shanghai was vibrant, with enthusiastic participation and continuous questions from the audience. The open-source stacks developed by Sentient, including GRID and OML, continue to play a central role in advancing the mission of open-source AGI.
We extend our appreciation to all speakers, attendees, and our partners at TinTinLand for helping make the Shanghai session a success.
